What would I write?
(I wonder if anyone would notice the imbedded literary device.)
- My food is to do the will of Him who saved me.
- The love of Christ compels me to continue existing.
- All Scripture is able to teach, reprove, rebuke, encourage... and is able to make the believer ready for all good works.
- To this end, Christians are especially welcome, but...
- Beware that God is your Judge, and not I. Fear Him, not me. For my part, I will try to be as Christ-like as I can and not resort to my old self.
- For you see, as much as I would like to make friends, Christ is by far better. I have, before now, loved friends and family more than God, and as a result was not worthy of Christ. This time I understand that those whom God loves, He rebukes in order to develop that person in Christ.
So, come all ye who seek refuge from the world. Hopefully you will find more reason to stand firm, and to know that God is provable. I but require your ear in return.
To Him who is able to keep you and present you holy and blameless on that day with exceeding joy, to Jesus Christ our Lord and God be glory and honour forever and ever. Amen.
The Me part:
I am 23, and am a PhD student undertaking research in biological physics. We know a poor little bit about most things you might want to ask.
